I was thinking of starting a Chuck vidding community where you can post vids and also ask for comm help (spn_sceneit-style) and I'm wondering what people think. Are there enough vids out there to start a community?

I hope this doesn't come across as conceited or anything like that, but my friends list seems to keep growing - something I find amazing and wonderful - and I was just curious as to where you all came from. Why you're here and why you've stayed. I also never use the polling function I pay for each year.

So, I made a quick ticky box poll for anyone who can be bothered. You should be able to tick any number of boxes you like. Like I say, it's just simple curiosity, nothing more or less.

We watched some Dark Angel... the episodes with Jenson Ackles, because it seemed like a good place to start. I'd forgotten how much I loved that show. So now I've stolen Rinne's boxset (stolen because I don't really want to give it back... I may have to buy them yet!) and I'm starting from the beginning. Yay!

Oh and we watched MacGyver. I had seriously forgotten how cheesy that show is! So, so funny!
We watched some S3 episode called "Ghostship" I think. Anyway, there's MacGyver, finding ships in the middle of nowhere, running around after Russian pirates, and rescuing girls from...

So for me, being me, this brings up a shitload of awesome(ly bad) crossover ideas with Supernatural.

I'd forgotten how much fun random DVD afternoons are. It doesn't matter what you watch, it's all about snarking at the plotline, chatting about random unrelated stuff, pointing out tight pants and hot guys, coming up with random fanfic ideas and eating greasy food! *sigh* What a fab day!

It has been pointed out to me that my LJ colouring may make my posts (and therefore my fics) hard to read. I wasn't aware of that, since obviously I picked colours that I find soothing and easy to read, but I can see how other people may find the blue-on-blue to be tough. Therefore, I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

Also, I notice that some people have their journal set up so that when you click on an entry it defaults to a simple white background with black writing (no style sheet). I can't seem to find a way for my LJ layout to do this though. Is there a checkbox on the journal style editing page somewhere that I'm missing? Do people find the black on white easier to read?
