Just in case anyone is interested, this is what I'm watching right now and where I'm up to. You can probably guess why I'm almost always behind on every show I watch. (There's too many of 'em!)

Hi y'all. A few things:

1) Another article has emerged with info on the new Canadian spin-off of Primeval. And yes, it is definitely a spin-off now, which does give some possible scope for character crossover, but mostly makes me glad that they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel entirely. Yay! Makes me want to watch it now. :)

2) wrisomifu (Write something you miserable fuck!) is now open to new members. I do it every year without fail and enjoy hate it immensely. Here's the advertisement:

wriso is a month-long challenge for people who don't like to push themselves too hard, or display any unseemly enthusiasm. all that's needed is 10 minutes a day of typing (coherence not required), a quick check-in and a little mutual griping with your fellow mifus. in return you'll get some gentle cudgelling and all the whingeing space you could ask for. it's the laziest, most wretched writing challenge in town, and it's calling your lj-name.

3) Got my festivids assignment the other week. Wow. I really like my vid challenge, but it will be a challenge. My word. Eeep. Anyone else signed up this year? :)

4) Take a look at my tvrealm Big Bang over HERE. I know I'm not great at graphics, but I had a lot of fun making these anyway. And then I managed to bury them under a cut... oops. :)

5) Annnd... there was something else that I will no doubt remember randomly in the middle of the night, but until then... that is all. :P

1) The Fades has the coolest opening credit sequence ever! I'd love to vid something like that!
2) rinkle came a-visiting on the weekend and it was FUN! Must upload some piccies of the pretty birds and the lizards we saw.
3) Pilates is evil!
4) Armageddon convention in Melbourne, here I come. :D
5) I am so very tired.
6) Hola! Spanish lessons start tomorrow night. Signed up on a whim. Hope it's good.

3. Went to a roller derby the other night. Really fun to watch! :)

4. My CONSULTING DETECTIVE t-shirt arrived today and it is awesome and fits perfectly! *squee*

5. 15 days and counting! ZOMG! I will get the keys! Yay!

7. Cowboys vs Aliens was actually pretty fun!

8. I have a yen to do something fannish, but I don't know what... or in what fandom. *thinks*

1) OMG! Weekend! *happy*

2) Went shopping at the markets this morning to look for Christmas presents and the stall that makes wheat bags was there again. \o/ They haven't been around for a while and my old one got lost in transit somewhere. You put them in the microwave and they stay nice and hot for ages and heal all hurts - period pain, muscle ache... love 'em. But anyway, today for an extra four bucks you got this:



Eeeee! He has a pouch in his tummy for the wheat bag, so you can snuggle a bear in your misery! Best thing evah! :)

Nobody Sees How Our Hearts Break by meg_tdj, Nobody Sees by Powder Finger, Angst Sam/Ruby

This vid is pretty much everything Sam/Ruby is...desperate, angsty and broken. And it's beautiful! The lyrics matching is perfect and then there's the subtle beat use and it's just one of those vids that reminds me that vidding isn't all about snazzy effects. This is super effective and so simple! I love it! :)

(New!Ruby is seriously cool! I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I love her as much as I loved Bela last season. I need some icons!)

4) Bought all my fave sandwich ingredients today and made my favourite, favourite sandwich. Nothing beats it. Nuh uh! *grins*

*There is an 80's challenge over at Kawoosh! What? No! I've already vidded Can't Touch This, Thriller and Ghostbusters and you tempt me again. Eviiiiil! (Can't touch this is actually one of my fave vids though, so ideas welcome! I might give into my inner 80's freak again, if I get a good idea!)

*Someone nominated my vid for the Stargate Music Video Awards. I'm not sure if we can post about them for another few days, so I'll hold off squeeing about which one, but THANK YOU anonymous nominating person/s! :D

*Had a lovely weekend with the Sydney pals! Not sure about the new James Bond. Didn't really do it for me this time. Nicely produced though. It was pretty to watch on the big screen! I also bough a dress and some shoes! \o/

*I had a day that wasn't half bad today. Which is half better than last week! My work week is totally looking up! Hopefully I didn't just jinx it!

I'm just moving all my SPN fic into its own post, since there's a lot of it now. :)

Like, I'm writing a follow-up to "memory in a touch" for it, but I want to do that thing where they just wake up the enxt morning or whatever. I think the vid fills in the blanks anyway. Opinions?
