Hi y'all. A few things:

1) Another article has emerged with info on the new Canadian spin-off of Primeval. And yes, it is definitely a spin-off now, which does give some possible scope for character crossover, but mostly makes me glad that they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel entirely. Yay! Makes me want to watch it now. :)

2) wrisomifu (Write something you miserable fuck!) is now open to new members. I do it every year without fail and enjoy hate it immensely. Here's the advertisement:

wriso is a month-long challenge for people who don't like to push themselves too hard, or display any unseemly enthusiasm. all that's needed is 10 minutes a day of typing (coherence not required), a quick check-in and a little mutual griping with your fellow mifus. in return you'll get some gentle cudgelling and all the whingeing space you could ask for. it's the laziest, most wretched writing challenge in town, and it's calling your lj-name.

3) Got my festivids assignment the other week. Wow. I really like my vid challenge, but it will be a challenge. My word. Eeep. Anyone else signed up this year? :)

4) Take a look at my tvrealm Big Bang over HERE. I know I'm not great at graphics, but I had a lot of fun making these anyway. And then I managed to bury them under a cut... oops. :)

Yes, that's right. I was dumb enough to enter the worst video ever challenge over at ETV.

The challenge was to make the worst possible vid you could, while still making it sort of watch-able, I guess. I pretty much made a vid that included all the foibles on youtube that make me laugh as well as all the things I did as a newbie vidder. While I'm really not sure it is watch-able, I did inspire two other vidders to enter the challenge, so go me. You can see their entries here and here if you're at all interested. Actually there is buckets of vidding meta in these three vids. Some people commented that they could be used as a training tool of some sort, but I just hope that this vid is amusing and completely scars you for life.

So I have (once again) fallen in love with a show after it has been and gone.
Just finished S2 of Primeval and I was wondering if anyone could rec me some non-spoilery fic?

Or even spoilery (but warn me), because I'm about to borrow S3-5 from my friend. Yay! \o/

I'd love some adventurous fic with lots of action or some good H/C fic. Maybe whumpage of Stephen or Cutter. Maybe some kick-ass Abby and Conner. WHatever you think is awesome Primeval fic. Please hit me with it flisties (or passers by).
