New main titles. I love the opening sequences for this show. Sexy, but also so darn artistic.

So I'm not one to follow actors per se, but the other night someone posted a picture of Jared and he had a sling on and I got curious. So I asked the poster and was told he was hurt wresting Osric. Osric? really? So I had to go check that shit out. A quick search brought me this video. I think I now love Osric!

As I'm just landing back in to Supernatural fandom, I'm re-reading fave fics as I rewatch the show. I figure I'll be reccing a few here to pass on my "old" fandom faves, while I find me some new ones.

I'm wandering through all the SPN communities I'm a member of and I'm saddened to find they are almost all dead. There's just crickets and the echo of happier days. (Though I am happy they're still up as an archive.)

Can anyone point me to where SPN fandom is still alive? Has it moved to Dreamwidth? Is it hiding in a few communities I am not a member of or haven't flittered into yet? In particular are there any:
- writing communities open to fact-finding or collating of information for SPN writers,
- general discussion communities,
- busy fic communities?

I'm almost regretting popping in. It's like the party is over and I'm sitting here eating the cake alone. It's very good cake though. :(

SPN people come friend me. :P

(Me: I'm mostly a gen girl, but I don't mind mixed communities and I will read the odd bit of het and slash. I don't do the Wincest/J2 thing, but it won't stop me talking to you if you don't mind that I don't go there. I'm currently re-watching my DVDs. Just hit Season 4!)

Oh LJ! I still remember all the headaches you caused to so many community moderators when you removed this feature. Now, years later, we've all found workarounds and you bring it back. Ha! Like what!? I am happy they finally brought it back though. Edit: Apparently still doesn't work with squares (which all my communities are coded with). Hmm.

They also fixed the add memories feature. It's back to letting you customise your memory without fiddling around with multiple tabs or whatever. Thank the lord!

How do Americans usually refer to a toasted sandwich? Like something you'd buy at a coffee shop chain with ham/cheese/tomato or something.

It's for a fic. Sam and Dean are in Utah, I think. In case that makes a difference. Still working on that, my geography sucks in my own country, let alone a whole other one.

Could someone throw me some prompt words? I'm kinda in the mood to write SPN fic, but havn't got any bunnies these days.

Is it just me or has LJ become more and more sparse fandom-wise? There's just not much going on, or maybe I'm so far outta the loop I just can't see it.

Oh also, can someone point me to some good (not too schmoopy) h/c gen fic. Long h/c-containing case!fic would be ideal. I don't care if I've read it before. I haven't read fic in aaages, so I won't remember. Poiting me to your fic recs in memories is totally useful too.
