A confession

I am terrible confused by this season of Doctor Who. I'm not enjoying it much. It's like the whole season just doesn't feel right. And I can't put my finger on why, only every episode feels like a repeat of the last one.

Can someone explain what I'm missing?
Is anyone else feeling a bit weird about this season?

I mean, I'm still watching. I still love the 11th Doctor. But is there a different writer this season or something?

I am confuuuuused. Like really confused.
Oh and I'm up to date, so no worries about spoiling me.

Entertain me with your thoughts. Point me to some meta. Explain stuff to me. Whatever you like.

I want an entire spin-off series of them solving mysteries in Victorian London and being the inspiration for Sherlock Holmes.

Yes, I am also still happily watching. I just seem to have lost the massive excitement I got in earlier seasons. hmm.
