A confession

I am terrible confused by this season of Doctor Who. I'm not enjoying it much. It's like the whole season just doesn't feel right. And I can't put my finger on why, only every episode feels like a repeat of the last one.

Can someone explain what I'm missing?
Is anyone else feeling a bit weird about this season?

I mean, I'm still watching. I still love the 11th Doctor. But is there a different writer this season or something?

I am confuuuuused. Like really confused.
Oh and I'm up to date, so no worries about spoiling me.

Entertain me with your thoughts. Point me to some meta. Explain stuff to me. Whatever you like.
Make me all excited about my DW again, please.

I would try to cheer you up, but sadly that's what happened to me during S5 so all I can offer virtual booze and chocolate.

Hmm. Well I'm still watching, I've just lost my extreme squee these days. It may yet return though. Here's hoping.

For your sake, I hope so, too. I miss being excited by it, but am sadly sort of used to it by now. That said, the ending of NotD did inspire me in another direction, which has excited me. I have put my opinions about why I feel let down on my LJ, but of course you don't have to read them unless you want to.
