My poor baby community vid_the_grid has been badly neglected by me since my vidding software died, but I want to rectify that.

As such, I was wondering if anyone had any novel pimping ideas or thoughts on improving the community.

I'm also still looking for an enthusiastic helper who could get the rec posts going again. I'm just not very reliable in that way. Sad to say.

Open to discussion/suggestions.

Oh man, I would love to be able to kick in and give you a hand, but I'm not reliable at rec posts either. :( (which reminds me I need to call for reccers on vidrec /o\)

And I haven't got much in the way of pimping ideas...

Though you could just do another reminder pimp around the place. Maybe work up a pimp post letting peeps know it's around.

Maybe you could get people who are filling in a grid to do an update post on the comm. So for example, a little like a did in a personal post a while back. Saying I have 3 to go, listed some ideas I have for the futures one and that I was stuck on one etc. It might just get those people who are filling there grids enthused again. And maybe the comm members could do some cheer leading.

That might be fun.(?) I wouldn't mind knowing where other people are up to. Who else is filling them out etc. Cheer on some others filling out prompts. :)

Thanks hon. I probably just need to do some pimping for a start. There hasn't been any for quite some time. *sigh*

I just don't seem to have energy for fandom things of late. I feel so boring. *hands*

Maybe I can start a check-in post. People can leave an update if they like and ask for ideas. Something like that.

Sadly I'm not sure I have time to rec but a suggestion for novel pimpin idea would be to have a vid_the_grid promo vidlet competition or maybe ask if people can advertise it on the vids they do do as part of the comm challenge?
