Little help from iPod people

A friend of mine has an iPod and she want a few of my avi files, but she says they won't go onto her iPod. What do I need to change the avi file into something even a stupid Mac iPod accepts?

I'm assuming some of you do this all the time, so I'm asking before looking at forums this time.

Edit: Okay, from my googling I've decided to try Any Video Converter and I'm converting to something called a MP4. Does that sound about right?

hrrm, thanks. I was hoping for a program, so I don't have to upload and download them all. The downloading bit is fine, it's the upload that won't likely work for me.

Yeah, that part sucks for me, too, sorry about that! Hopefully somebody else will have a free converting program to rec you (I'd be interested in that as well! ;) ).

I only actually watched clips of his early GA eps because I've never actually watched the show either but IMDB has a listing of all of his eps here. I didn't realize he's been in 23 eps all together!

ETA: Here's what the vidding comm has under their conversion software tag. Maybe there will be something in there that could help? *fingers crossed* :D

Cool! I'm trying that one. I do remember someone recommending that for some other purpose once... though I can't remember what that was exactly. :P
