Seems that the stupid company finally bothered to find the "real" problem...course we haven't had internet or TV for two weekends running now, so I'm kinda ready to write the most heinous complaint letter... Grrrr!

You should demand a refund for the services you paid for which you didn't receive - it's worked for me in the past. Threaten at the same time to switch companies, that usually helps.
