Fact finding for fic

A couple of things I just need to check. If anyone can help, just jump right in. :)

1) In Supernatural Season 1, when do Sam and Dean first hear about yellow-eyes? I'm writing what is currently a coda to Provenance, but I don't have my episodes up here and I'm not sure where it comes in the timeline. That is, are they aware of the YED yet or even that there's a demon behind the premonitions etc?

2) Monkey Magic. Remember that show? Did they shoot sparks out of sticks and stuff. Kinda like a magician? I have it in my head as a recollection, but I don't know if I'm confusing two different shows. In my head they fly around on carpets adn occasionally point sticks and then there's bad special effects of like lightening or whatever. Yay or ney?

Yeah, thanks! My prompt (for spn_thur_night) has Sarah and the YED, so I need good-ol YED in there. I think I can keep the same story, just move it forward in the timeline somehow. *thinkies* Thanks!
