It was my birthday today...still is for a few hours. One of those uneventful numbered ones and I'm lazy and didn't really plan anything.

This evening yokiem and P took me out to dinner, paid the bill, and

...GAVE ME A SONIC SCREWDRIVER! *Bounce*

It has a UV light and special ink, so you can write Sekrit Messages!! And it makes the authentic sonic screwdriver noise too. Hee!

I also had cake at work, and lots of lovely messages from the f-list during the day. Thank you guys!


I also want to say thanks for the wonderful Valentine's messages you guys left me. It really made me smile on a day I generally pretend doesn't exist. Oh and thanks reedfem for the adorable penguin e-card. *big smiles*

The sonic screwdriver is cool. We were geeking out over the remote-controlled daleks (pricey at $115) together the other day and saw them in the store then. I'd totally forgotten about them, so it was a fun surprise. :)
