MSN Messenger and Firefox

OK, so I recently switched to using Firefox rather than Explorer and I love the tab thing etc. Anyway, it was bugging me that when messenger alerts me to a new hotmail message, it will only open in Explorer when you click on it. So, I sent an email asking if there was a way around this.

The first reply:

A bit later, as promised, I received a second response from Hotmail:

Bah! So it looks like it isn't possible. Unless there's an add-on or something. Anyone know of one?

Yeah, that really sucks. I use Opera (and absolutely adore it) but I could enver get Messnger links to open in it. So I've sort of given up - switched to Gmail for most things bar RL friends and family, and got notifier.

You might be able to check around some Firefox site (I have no idea where but Google probably will ^_^) and see if anyone's written some code.

Oooh! Cool! Kinda makes me wish I liked Firefox.

They do have different themes for it...there are things that make it look more like opera.

That's kinda cool. But I guess I'm just used to Opera now. *g* *pats it* Which is weird, because I didn't like it when I used it at friends - though that may have been because she had the address bar hidden.
