Hey SPN fandom... where are you?

I'm wandering through all the SPN communities I'm a member of and I'm saddened to find they are almost all dead. There's just crickets and the echo of happier days. (Though I am happy they're still up as an archive.)

Can anyone point me to where SPN fandom is still alive? Has it moved to Dreamwidth? Is it hiding in a few communities I am not a member of or haven't flittered into yet? In particular are there any:
- writing communities open to fact-finding or collating of information for SPN writers,
- general discussion communities,
- busy fic communities?

I'm almost regretting popping in. It's like the party is over and I'm sitting here eating the cake alone. It's very good cake though. :(

SPN people come friend me. :P

(Me: I'm mostly a gen girl, but I don't mind mixed communities and I will read the odd bit of het and slash. I don't do the Wincest/J2 thing, but it won't stop me talking to you if you don't mind that I don't go there. I'm currently re-watching my DVDs. Just hit Season 4!)

I'm here via the lovely ash48. I've been in a few fandoms in the past SG-1 and Merlin and I did make Stargate vids long years ago. I am relatively new to SPN (Thank you, Netflix!) but, sadly, am a fringe dwelling leech who tends to read and devour all the things that other talented people create without ever giving anything back aside from the occasional feedback, rec, and response to posts. I'm not even consistently meta, sadly.

So, if you are willing to befriend an inconsistent bottom feeder who has very little to offer, I'm here for you. At the very least, there is a recent photo with some delightful boys to ogle at My Journal

Heeeey! Nice to meet you. Bottom feeder? What? No way, everyone needs someone to fangirl their lovely art/vid/fics or it'd be a quiet old place. Never forget that. And anyway, I'm pretty quiet these days. Just flopping about like a fish on land seeing if I can reconnect to something fannish again. I miss the days I was an online freak! Ha! :D

Hey lovely! You just put the tags in by hand. So dragonfly_sg1 is [lj user ="dragonfly_sg1"[/] but use the pointy tag brackets rather than the square ones. Tadah! ;)
