Hey SPN fandom... where are you?

I'm wandering through all the SPN communities I'm a member of and I'm saddened to find they are almost all dead. There's just crickets and the echo of happier days. (Though I am happy they're still up as an archive.)

Can anyone point me to where SPN fandom is still alive? Has it moved to Dreamwidth? Is it hiding in a few communities I am not a member of or haven't flittered into yet? In particular are there any:
- writing communities open to fact-finding or collating of information for SPN writers,
- general discussion communities,
- busy fic communities?

I'm almost regretting popping in. It's like the party is over and I'm sitting here eating the cake alone. It's very good cake though. :(

SPN people come friend me. :P

(Me: I'm mostly a gen girl, but I don't mind mixed communities and I will read the odd bit of het and slash. I don't do the Wincest/J2 thing, but it won't stop me talking to you if you don't mind that I don't go there. I'm currently re-watching my DVDs. Just hit Season 4!)

Hahaha... guilty by prosecution. But no worries dear, you're definitely not the only one at LJ whose cup of tea is more gender and het.

- You can find some at my flist too, for example. And I'm glad to read that you can live with the slashy ones of us in the big SN Family. And the fact that I prefer slash doesn't mean I don't like het or gender. Au contraire, ma chér!

Finally, the lack of buzz in the most communities that days? I have to second my fellow commentors above there: it's a.) because of the long summer hellatus [same procedure as every year, dear^^] and b.) everybody's in holiday mode, more or less.
- But after all (particular in the slashy comms, IMO), there's still a lot of posting and commenting going on in the Good Ole SN communities at LJ.

P.S. You're a SHERLOCK fangirl too? JOLLY GOOD! Hm... is series three already been airing in Aussie-land?

Yes I've seen season 3. I wasn't as in to it as other seasons, but I think I just need to find the time to re-watch all the episodes in a row to get my Sherlock!mojo back. Luckily it's easy to do. I do love that show. I got right into it fandom-wise which was a first for quite some while. Not sure I wrote anything, but I made some vids and read lots etc.
