Hey SPN fandom... where are you?

I'm wandering through all the SPN communities I'm a member of and I'm saddened to find they are almost all dead. There's just crickets and the echo of happier days. (Though I am happy they're still up as an archive.)

Can anyone point me to where SPN fandom is still alive? Has it moved to Dreamwidth? Is it hiding in a few communities I am not a member of or haven't flittered into yet? In particular are there any:
- writing communities open to fact-finding or collating of information for SPN writers,
- general discussion communities,
- busy fic communities?

I'm almost regretting popping in. It's like the party is over and I'm sitting here eating the cake alone. It's very good cake though. :(

SPN people come friend me. :P

(Me: I'm mostly a gen girl, but I don't mind mixed communities and I will read the odd bit of het and slash. I don't do the Wincest/J2 thing, but it won't stop me talking to you if you don't mind that I don't go there. I'm currently re-watching my DVDs. Just hit Season 4!)

So very possible. I just had a look and the last fic I wrote for SPN was back in 2010. Wow!

Yeah, I'm popping in on the off-season, so I expect a little quiet. I'll have to check out the big bang. Long fics are the best! :)

Haha! I just went in search of what an "odd manic" is, but realised belatedly you mean manip. I'm a little slow on the uptake tonight. Your art looks great! I love the idea of covers for fic. Yours are so pretty too! I still remember Newkidfan (one of the bigger art people back when I was fandom-ing) made me a cover for Dirty Tactics (http://starrylizard.livejournal.com/273262.html) and I just about died from the awesome! Artists rock! :)

I'm finding with ePubs a cover is really important to a story now, so you don't get the generic placeholder cover on your iPad or kindle.
And I would have just found LJ and started reading when you last popped in. : ) At the time I felt like I had missed the party. 4 amazing years of SPN fic that I didn't know had been happening. WOW, such an exciting time in SPN fic. AND EVIL!SAM!!!!!

Well it maybe a bit quieter, but there's still lots of fun to be had. And I'm glad you liked your pie!
