Yep, I saw them this arvo, and it looks incredible! It's so realistic that I'm slightly guilt ridden, because I have to tell myself that it's John and Rodney and not Joe and David. Casual clothes does that to me.
I like the gesture with the hand - comes across as intimate to me.
But in general, I love the promo pics - thank God they're not as made-up or digitalized.
Hee! No I refuse to think Joe/David, because just no! My brain does not venture where it feels uncomfortable and that's just ...no. It's J/R. But the manip is great! I actually saw your comment there.
I think they used the airbrush quite liberally to make them all look so smooth in the promo shots, but I don't mind. The pics are very pretty and made me squee...and the leather jacket! ...Please make that a new regulation uniform accessory. They wear them in SG1 I'm sure. :D
Plus the promo pics have created discussion for me all day long. I've had email comments all day and it has amused me as I attempt to write about parathyroid hormone and G protein-coupled receptors. :p Gotta love fandom! :D
