Yokiem and I planned to go walking yesterday, but alas it rained...again! Only seems to do it when we plan something. So, we went shopping instead.
We had a nice lunch at a cafe and just mulled around the shops for a few hours.
I got a skirt, which is very business-like and probably therefore won't get worn. See work clothes just aren't relevant to someone that works in a lab all day. It's jeans and t-shirts and sneakers. How much of a geek does that make me sound like? But, the skirt was reduced to $10 and it's a really nice one and it might do for future interviews or whatever, so I couldn't resist.
Then we stopped at Yokiem's place and grabbed the latest SG1 and SGA and came back to watch. Sateda was awesome! That episode has totally renewed my inner fangirl!
Oh and Yokiem has finished her latest vid to 'Sex Bomb' and it is really funny! I'm posting the links to that next and you all must download it because the men of SGA and SG1 are so hawt that I have to spell hot wrong to fully expressy how hot thay are!
That inspired me to make more of the vid I'm attempting to make, yes it's another terrible 80's hit. I can't help myself! Children of the 80's unite! So I satyed up until 2am chatting with Yokiem and vidding.
So this morning I got up at 11:30am, just in time to dash to the shops, have massage - because ouch! vidding is bad for your health and I woke up with a really sore neck - and then to meet Yokiem,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mcalex22 and derry667 for lunch and coffee. We chatted and ate and drank form 1pm - 5ish when they started switching lights off and vacuuming, which we took as subtle hints that we should be leaving. :P
