There's a new community called science_beta, where scientists and doctors can apply to be members and help people get the science straight in their fictional writing.

They are after people with qualifications in:
* Astronomy
* Behavioural Science
* Biology
* Chemistry
* Computer Science
* Earth Science
* Engineering
* Health Science
* Mathematics
* Physics
* Psychology

...doctors too apparently...I take it they come under health sciences. Go join up if you can help, or if you may be able to use this kind of help, because this community could really make some great fiction come to life. :D
