Vidding again

I went to write last night, but somehow my muse ran away again. I was sure I could start something after squeeing over my SB fic ideas with rinkle on GTalk, but I guess not. *sigh*

Instead I started that vid I've been wanting to do since I first began to use WMM. I just didn't want to make it badly, because I thought it was an awesome idea, and so I kept putting it off. It is now started and I'm very happy with the first minute or so. I just have to figure out the story and where it fits the music best for the rest of it.

I hope my neighbours weren't put off by the Wagner blaring out of my house at 1am. Sorry peoples!


I went to start the assay I need to do today and I can't find my control samples. *meep* Various freezers have been dying round our lab of late and my samples seem to always be in the dying freezers. It's this weird curse I tell you. Anyway, it means they keep moving and while I could find most of them today, the controls have all gone walking. They're pretty damn important too. *le sigh*

I refuse to panic yet. I will find them. They are probably in another box or freezer, but hell it's frustrating! ...and yes, kinda panic-worthy too!


Off to free lunch and student talks now.

*hugs* for the walking samples (and man, what I just wrote sounds odd) and not being able to write. Just write when it wants to write...don't force it.

Yeah. Well I'm resigned to that, since my muse only happens when it wants to anyway.

I was just having cool ideas in the talk I went to...pretty boring talk and the main acronym used was SGA (small for gestational age), so you can't blame a girl for getting SGA plotbunnies of the other kind. I wanted to write then, was doodling notes on my notepad. It was a scene in which they check into the big flashy hotel. I think it may have to be in Las Vegas. :D
