Man I enjoyed that movie. I was expecting mindless action, but it was rather quirky and fun and the action was non-stop and completely unrealistic in a really silly way. I cracked it when the limo was circling with the news coverage [shhh spoilers, you'll see]... It reminded me of the first time I saw Die Hard, actually. It works in a similar way. Channing's white shirt even got progressively dirty as it went along! Wheeee! Just what I needed for my Friday night to cheer me right up.

If you like an action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, try White House Down. It really made me grin!

I really enjoyed this too. I love that Die Hard--completely unrealistic action. And the heartwarming and uplifting parts were a pleasant surprise.

Yep, it was far more Die Hard than the latest proper Die Hard movie (which wasn't Die Hard at all...they were trapped in...a country?) :P

I can't really read this, because unfortunately I never got round to seeing the film.

There's no spoilers, I just thought it was good and it reminded me of Die Hard. :)

Really? Because from the certificate, it seems to be a softer version of Olympus Has Fallen. Now THAT was a good action movie!

I liked it better than Olympus Has Fallen personally. But we seem to often disagree on movies.

But the real important question is, does he take his shirt off???

I kinda wanna see that movie. I wanna see Riddick even more. *sigh*

Come to think of it, no. But he did show off his arms.
I don't think I've seen the second Riddick movie yet. Hmm.

Arms are good. Especially when they're nice arms. Buffy said as much. *nods*

Oh the second Riddick movie was awesomesauce, I love it. It's right there in its case next to me on the shelf, right between Serenity and season 1 of Chuck.

Arns are good! Yep!

I'll have to look for the second movie. They played the first one on the telly again the other night but I missed it.
