Heya, sorry I think I've confused you with my fandom-skipping. I love too many TV shows. This is a promo for Season 3 (S3) of The Listener, which is a Canadian TV show set in Toronto about a telepathic paramedic who helps the police solve crimes on the side.
There was over a year between season 1 & 2 because the TV station dropped it, but then another one decided to pick it up and it became quite a different show (less plot, more pretty). So S3 coming out makes lea_skye and I very happy!
Looks like S3 will be different yet again as there is a lot more explosions and action if the promo is to be believed (and yet more people learning Toby's secret), so could be interesting.
Teehee! It's so true though. I note there is no mention of the whole "use yr powerz and yr brain will melt!" thing in the promo. I hope it's not to be a hand-wavey "that never happened" season 3. Interesting!
There is that point in the trailer where someone is having a seizure, maybe it's Toby? I would like a bit more arc to the pretty, so I don't want anything dismissed either.
LOL They basically re-boot the entire show every season, don't they? Not that I'm complaining, the ideas thrown around in this promo are AWESOME (hmmm, no sign of "you keep doing this you're going to die" or of Dr. Ladyfriend... maybe like Toby's mother, this is going to be No Longer an Issue and We Shall Not Talk Of It Again?)
