Is there a third season of Rome? My friend seems convinced there is and wanted me to order it, but I don't see one. Anyone in the know, please jump in. Thanks!
There's not, alas. ;_; It got cancelled after season two due to the fact that it was insanely expensive to make, which is why they crammed so much into that season (which was originally supposed to end with the death of Brutus - the Battle of Actium wasn't meant to be till season four).
It's a shame, because it's such an amazing show. But they've talked about doing a movie, so fingers crossed!
Thanks! I haven't even seen much of S1, though it's on my to-do list. But my friend's hubby really loves it and was convinced there was a S3, so we were trying to find it. I've let her know though, so thanks for your help. *fingers crossed* :)
