We trudged through the wind and rain to get it. I had to ask because it wasn't on the shelf and the lady was all "oh yeah they arrived this monring." They hadn't put them out yet. WTF? But she went and got it for me and my friend was giggling her head off saying it was just as well or I woulda chucked a tanty.

But, it is mine.

Linkin Park A Thousand Suns +limited edition DVD in a pretty pack and to top it off it tells me (on a badly placed sticker on the front cover) that there will be an Australian tour in DECEMBER 2010!!!!

Eeeeee! \o/ I am a happy fangirl. Oh yis!

I'm sitting here listening and it's really different too. It's a real mishmash of styles both new and old. I'm missing their usual heavy base line a bit, but I do like bands to try different stuff, so I'm not worried. I'm sure it'll grow on me. Also I haven't heard the whole album yet, but there are some pretty pretty song lyrics in here. :)

Sadly, I'm going to have to wait to get my copy (using sanity gift card...where are sanity stores nowadays? Oh, right, almost nowhere *headdesks*) but I'm really looking forward to it. They played one of the songs on Triple M this evening (not that one that you linked the other day). I liked it.

I used to have *THE* biggest crush on Chester. About the same time, I also dated a guy who looked like him, but I dumped him when he dyed his hair brown. *face/palm*
