Dear god, now I remember another reason why I don't really watch vids any more.

This was a cute vid as you said, but I just look at all those effects and transitions and think "hmm... that's the XYZ effect" and "you can do that by doing ABC"...

And then there's those seriously cool and awesome vids that made me feel that I'm a complete failure when it comes to vidding, and then there's those really bad ones that make me want to do a remake.

Yeah, watching vids has become a bit of a hazard for me. :P

Saving me quite a bit of HD space and bandwidth though! :P

And when it comes to making my own vid, no one can say I stole their idea and I always end up choosing clips that no one really choose because everyone has seen everyone elses vids and somehow ended up using the same clips. So that's good. ;)

I do enjoy them. Sometimes, it's also fun to try to figure out how certain things are done and try to recreate the effect. And I still do enjoy a good vid. Which reminds me, have you seen this awesomeness? It's a Merlin vid based on a fic, and it's EPIC!

LOL! Probably. I've read the fic once, but have listened to the podfic about a dozen times now. It's an awesome fic and even more awesome podfic! :D
