I like Merlin, but I don't want to write it. My muse just doesn't appear interested.

Dollhouse did redeem itself a fair bit in my eyes with the last episode I watched (204, I think it was), so I still plan to give it another shot.

I still refuse to watch Dexter.

Defying Gravity was axed. *wibble*

Not sure about Flash Forward. I did watch the first 3 eps, does it keep up the pace and do we think there's an answer coming or will it be another Lost? Thoughts welcome.

The new V looks fun. It's only a miniseries though, so not likely to be my new fandom or anything.

How are people finding Stargate Universe? I wasn't wrapped in episode 1/2 (I fell asleep), but I've been meaning to watch some more and see if it gets any better. I don't hold high hopes.

When do we get some new Doctor Who?

I love Fringe, despite having no clue what is going on. :P

Anyway, what are you all enjoying at the moment? What shows are you watching every week without fail and loving? I'm interested, really. :)

I've been watching Supernatural and Glee!
Also been watching some Numb3rs and Criminal Minds reruns.
I've seen a few episodes of White Collar and Castle and I really enjoyed them, but never remember when they are on.

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Hee, I keep seeing ads for Castle and Glee and forgetting to watch them. I've heard great stuff about Glee. :)

Supernatural is my main fandom, so I still watch that of course. It's so obvious I forgot to list it. lol Go me. :P

I've also bought some Numb3rs DVDs. [livejournal.com profile] rinkle keeps prodding me to get up to date. I think I'm still watching S2, so I'm a ways off from being up to date. Heee.

Thanks! :)

As a voice major and a former Show Choir girl I love Glee! Unfortunately that measn I don't see Law and Order:SVU new.

I haven't really kept up religiously with Numb3rs but I still love it. To me the Epps brothers are the Winchesters if they weren't hunters.

*agrees with Numb3rs* ;-)

Castle, Mentalist. Flash Forward I'm still finding interesting, at least at the moment.

NCIS:LA is worth giving a go.

NCIS:LA is worth giving a go.
Someone did tell me that. Probably you. hee! :)

I'm watching the Mentalist on TV, so I'm behind I think, but I like it a lot. :)

I'm watching it from TV, too. The only things that I'm getting via other means is SPN and Numb3rs.

*goes back to watching episode of Dalziel and Pascoe on one of my dad's tapes from about two years ago*

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Okay, so like, what we need is about a week where we can watch Numb3rs lounge-room lizard style... with junk food and Rinne-Lizzie commentary and... stuff.

So when's this PhD business finishing? *looks shifty*

Heee hee hee hee hee heee. Yes. I love that idea!! I would be totally onboard with that. ;-)

Feb, looking like. *sighs* I'm taking a long weekend this weekend, tomorrow and Tuesday off too. Going to the aquarium and Chinese Gardens tomorrow, I think, to take photos.

Friday. Night. Lights.

I cannot say that any harder. If I wanted to say it any harder, I'd need to have a cup of concrete first.

Doooooooooooo eeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

The first two epis of S4 have killed me dead. And I was already pretty dead from the first three seasons. But now I'm more dead. God, I love being dead of that show.

*basks*

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Heehee, would I need to start with S1 or can I just grab this season to start with and see if I like it?

From: [identity profile] pdragon76.livejournal.com

NO. You must start at the beginning. Preferably in [livejournal.com profile] july_july_july's living room, and with a bag of baby carrots and a shitload of dip. But since July is currently sans living room, you might have to settle for your own. But grab some baby carrots by all means. :D

I got my mate Flips hooked on this show in about a week flat. She's lost, like the Minnow. There's no saving her.

JOIN US.

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

This Starry Lizard will have to figure out where S1 of this show hails from and perhaps buy it while the exchange rate is good. Hmmm. And then perhaps do the lounge lizard with carrots... apparently. I will take your word on the carrots.

I thought this show was like the sports equivalent of the OC or something...not that I didn't watch the first two seasons of the OC... so like, it's good though right? Right. Okay. I will try to source it. Yup.

From: [identity profile] pdragon76.livejournal.com

The OC makes me want to vomit.

This show does not. It does, however, make me cry like a blithering GIRL almost every trip out the gate. And I am...not a crier. As a general rule.

Coach Taylor is awesome. His wife is even more awesome. The Riggins boys will gut you. Street will rip your heart out.

And Matt Saracen? Oh, man. I can't even. *head in hands*

And oh God. Tyra. I nearly forgot Tyra. *flails*

Sounds awfully violent, with the crying, gutting and heart-ripping out. O_O

(The OC was amusing for about a season and a half, but I can't say it ever got me even close to crying... I liked it because it was lame. :P)

I never watched Lost so can't comment on how it compares to FF, but on the whole FF seems to be holding its own, especially with the sense that the visions people have seen are not all that they seem/can be changed. That said the last episode was full of the personal melodrama, which was just about worth hanging in through for the revelations in the last couple of minutes. :D

S7 NCIS is definitely an improvement on S6, and Burn Notice can be quite fun. Warehouse 13 has its moments. I tried SGU twice for about 10 minutes each time before turning over in boredom.

That said I have no show that I am obsessed with... may explain why my Atlantis muses are so active at the moment. :D

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

*grins at early icon attempt that you still use* <3

I haven't heard of Warehouse 13. *goes to look it up on IMDb*

I should watch more flash forward I guess. Ha! It seemed alright for the first few eps.

*smish*

From: [identity profile] merlins-sister.livejournal.com

*grins at early icon attempt that you still use* <3</i Hey, I still love it. :D And in the S/H world all media is gratefully received. Warehouse 13 is about a secret storage space for all the dangerous supernatural artifacts. Stars Saul Rubinek who I always remember from Frasier. It's fun, though they aren't quite there with the arc stuff for my tastes. *smishes back*

I'm liking Glee and I add my recommendation for it, it's like sprinkling a big glass of glitter around while lip-singing to pop songs! but it doesn't get me fannish either.

SGU I only watch because I want to see if Robert Carlyle turns out to be evil or merely sociopathic, but the other characters... let's say that Stargate 90120 is a fair description.

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Hehee, I couldn't believe how awful Robert Carlyle is looking and then his character is definitely unlikeable...not just annoying, but yeah, quite possibly evil. I take it that doesn't change then. :P

A few people have told me I should watch Glee. It's on at 7:30, so I always forget to watch it. I may have to borrow it from someone. :)

From: [identity profile] irismay42.livejournal.com

You so HAVE to watch Dexter! It's one of the best shows I've ever seen! And has had both Julie Benz and Mark Pellegrino in it!

Stargate Universe is trying so very hard to be Battlestar Galactica that it doesn't seem to have realised it's actually Star Trek: Voyager. Without the likeable characters.

There's new Who in the UK next Sunday (15th November). So - er - downloadable...?

I only saw the first two episodes of Dollhouse before I gave up, but it's being repeated at the moment so I'm going to give it another try.

Do you get Chuck in your part of the world? One of the best shows in recent years! We've just finished season 2 and it was cracking!

How about Spooks? I think it's called MI5 in the US, not sure if you get it Down Under! I never watched it before, but have been mainlining it. I'm on season 6 now, but season 8 has just started to air on the BBC.

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

If you like Dexter, then you'll probably like Dollhouse this season. And no, I won't watch Dexter, sorry. *hands*

Yay, new DW! It gets played here pretty quickly on the ABC or there are other means. :)

I love Spooks. I'm up to S7, but I haven't watched it in a while. Should do that. :)

We don't get Chuck, but a friend of mine is addicted and keeps telling me to watch it. I can probably borrow/steal from her :)

SGU, lol. I'm thinking I'mma not bother to watch it from descriptions in this thread :P

THANKS

Glee is FANTASTIC! Definitely watch it!

Have you seen Vampire Diaries? I think the books are better than the show, but the show is still good if it's solely for eye candy purposes.

And even though it's not a new show, Psych is pretty awesome! It's in its forth season and on hiatus until January.

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

I watched ep 1 of the Vampire Diaries. It made me giggle with all the fog and teenage horror, but it was some fun. Might watch more of it. :)

I really must catch Glee on TV. I think it's on tomorrow night, if I can only remember for once.

Thanks!!

From: [identity profile] heylittleriver.livejournal.com

Castle. Castle, Castle, Castle. It's pretty much my no. 1 love at the moment. And yet I have no icons. (Shows I'm keeping up with: Castle, NCIS, Flashpoint and Cold Case [to an extent. Not as urgently as the rest.] In Plain Sight too but the season just ended.)

Shows I mean to give a shot at some point in time: Glee, White Collar, V and Flash Forward. Who knows if any of those will stick?

(I'm pretty much out of the loop on sci fi at the moment. Saw a bit of SGU when I was in the US and, uh, not impressed. At all. Where did my sci fi goooo? Le sigh.)
