I just feel like recommending a few more of my fave vids. If there's a theme this time, it's that these vids aren't in my main fandoms and have therefore popped up onto my radar by wonderful chance or through other people's recommendations. :)
A few more older vids that are on my favourites play list:
Title: Beethoven's Fifth Gold Digger by
absolutedestiny
Fandom: Gone With the Wind
Audio: Beethoven's Fifth Gold Digger by A Plus D (mashup of Kayne West's Gold Digger and Walter Murphy's Fifth of Betthoven)
This is just delightful! Gone with the wind, but more from Rhett's POV I guess. It matches the song much better than you'd imagine. Really! :)
Title: Secret Agent Man by
fahrbotdrusilla
Music: ‘Secret Agent Man’ Cover by Blues Traveler
Fandom: Spooks/MI-5
Characters: Tom, Ellie & Maisie
Spoilers: The end of the first series.
A cautionary tale of mixing family with espionage.
I miss Tom so much and I wander back to this vid on a regular basis just to squee over him. Perfect music choice and it's fun and makes me smile and bop along. And of course, excellent editing as always.
Title: Right Through Your Eyes by Loki
Fandom: Dark Angel
Song: Where Will You Go by Evanescence
Category: Character study of Ben-Alec
I love the editing on this one. It's flawlessly pretty and I'll watch it just for that. I also usually hate and despise vids to Evanescence songs, but this one (a) is a version I've never heard that is funky and (b) fits beautifully, so I can't fault that at all. I admit I now love a vid that features an Evanescence song. lol. The flashbacks and the final voice over... all so heartbreaking. I loved Alec and Ben in the series and I love this vid.
And a new vid that popped up today
Title: Ashes to Ashes Trailer by
theanonsisters
Music: In The Air Tonight by Gregorian
Fandom: Ashes to Ashes
Spoilers: Clips used to end of series two
This looks absolutely professional. Very nicely edited and very effective. I'd go watch the show based on this... if I hadn't already seen it. :)

Basically with DA, S1 is much better than S2, but S2 has Alec in it and he is awesome, so *shrugs* you end up watching it all. I watched it back when it was on the telly and again a few years back when Rinne leant me her DVDs. It's really rather a fun series once you get used to the street talk they use. :)
Bwahaha! I just re-read this post and it sounds like a 13-year-old girl is squeeing, so I'm gonna shut up now. :P

I do intend to watch DA one day. When I'm very, very bored. :P I watched the first few eps when it first aired, but quickly lost interest. Which is sad, because it was such a cool idea.
