I'm freaking out

Why the hell did I sign up for a fic exchange? I did it once before and vowed never to do it again... and then I did. :(

More than half the writing time is down and I'm still flailing about in an attempt to find a hook for a story. I have some ideas, but nothing solid.

Freaking out.

*empathizes* Is it Summergen? I'm going to be hermitting up this weekend myself to try and pound through on mine. I'm at about 18%-ish. :-P

Did you read the mod post on how to dissect the prompts if you didn't get any you can work with? Can you mix and match two of the prompts? Do some free-association? Rewatch an episode or two with similar themes?

And like ficwriter1966 says, keep thinking 1000 words. They go by faster than you think, trust me.

Nope, not summer gen. It's for a Sam gen challenge thingy. summer_sam_love. I think I did read that interpretation of prompts thing though. It was good. Actually my prompts are awesome, I think I just needed to freak out before I could start writing. :P
