Supernatural Convention - Jensen

So, part 2 I guess. Jensen! \o/ (Jared, over here and Misha is over here)
Again, just a bit of rambling and some pictures.

As I said before, all the guys seemed pretty jet-lagged, but Jensen was the one letting it show. Poor guy seemed to be struggling a bit, but he remained diplomatic, if a little more sarcastic than I expected. I kinda liked that though. Actually all three of them were pretty good at deflecting questions they didn't want to answer or whatever.

One of the first questions to Jensen was about how they filmed the bit where he was buried in the coffin in the S4 opener. Apparently the dirt was crumbled Oreo cookies. O_o And it was hot and nasty and he forgot his earplugs and was digging cookie crumbs out of his ears the rest of the day.

I loved at one point how a lady tried to give him (or was it Jared? My memory is so in the moment. :P) a gift or something that was against the convention rules and the audience told her "no!" and he grinned and told her "the audience had spoken". Actually, there were fairly few questions where I wanted to hide under my chair with embarrassment, so that was pretty nice. I'm not sure if it was the rules - you'd get kicked out for inappropriate questions - or if it was just a nice audience. Bit of both I think.



Oh apparently his worst fan experience was when a chick literally jumped down onto him and wrapped herself around him, grabbed his head and tried for a kiss. He said he felt a tad guilty later, but his survival instinct kicked in and he put his arm in her throat and two burly security guys had to pull her off. Creepy, much! O_O







Jensen told us he'd like to see the series end with the brothers back to being brothers, together, fighting evil and driving around the country. Which was the opposite to Jared who claims he'd like to see them go out fighting each other in a big battle of brother vs brother. Totally paraphrasing here of course. :P





And then they had another t-shirt auction. Jensen's tshirt already beat the price that Jared's went for within a few minutes and he was so very happy about that. Then the price kept on rising and I think he was getting a bit freaked out. He was commenting that he really couldn't draw and could people stop bidding, so he could stop drawing now. :P Eventually he pretended to be an auctioneer, putting on the fast kind of voice to everyone's enjoyment and proclaimed the last bidder the winner. It went for over $4000. Wow!

Trying my best. I did promise a few people 'd post pictures and stuff! *G* Thanks for reading the rambles. I had such trouble narrowing down to ten pictures. Mcalex22 had so very many of Jensen. I've saved over 80 and that was me being picky! :)

I remember that one audience member was asking about the amounts of alcohol consumed in the show and then referred to Jensen's bottled water which Jared gave him (so funny he almost couldnt get out he door) Jensen said it was vodka before, I'm sure he's fibbing :P but he said its fake alcohol on the show and they go drink the real stuff in they're trailers, which he then said somethin like "no we dont, yes we do." lol
and he wouldnt do the "cat scream" XD

this was cool, memories flooding back. Thanksyou! ^^

Ha, I forgot about the alcohol. I was thinking of asking what they use instead of alcohol, but I didn't need to in the end. He answered someone else. I'd need alcohol to go on stage like that. Lots of it. :P It was sweet how Jared ran out with the water. I think he just likes to hear everyone squeal and offer Jensen some support, cos he popped out a couple of times.

Yeah, when he smiles I melt! I had a great time! Lucky Mcalex22 was all go with the camera coz mine didn't work inside at all. lol They look like blurry little red-eyed demons! :P

OMG yes. You know how long it took me to wander through them and choose ten? I had 80 on the short-list. That was the short-list. OMG! :P I think I'll play and make a nice header or some icons out of them all. :)

OMGosh your friend got awesome pics! I have about 5 of Jensen from day 1 b/c my stupid camera battery died=/

Yep, she had thousands of shots. I think she has a thing on her camera where it just takes so many shots per minute or something. There was a whole DVD worth anyway. I saved 80 of just Jensen and that was my shortlist for cropping down. :P

It was great to meet you briefly. If you're in easy striking distance of Sydney, we could always meet up one time when I'm up there or something and have coffee and talk SPN and whatever else. It's always so nice to see I'm talking to normal people. lol
