Anyone know what this is?

It seems to be a complete copy of my Youtube page. *confused raised eyebrow* But I'm not a member of the forum and the FAQ is a search, so it tells me nothing. It's a little odd though, right? How did my youtube page get on Asylum.net??

And then again here - Another copy of my youtube account. So, is this just something forums do now? I'm curious having never come across it before.

On a nice note.... The blogger credited me and Ash, so I don't mind my vid being here (in fact it's cute), but I wish I knew what the blog says. Anyone got any... what language is that?

*giggles* I like how the blogger presents them though. Pretty! :)

OMG! I'm mentioned/linked on Super_wiki as an example of an AU vid! That just makes me grin!

Oooh and someone actually blogged my Nichelle Nichols vid from the Sydney Convention (lost the link) and credited me! I wondered where all the hits were coming from. :)

This post is brought to you by boredom and a stupid notion to google my fandom name. Don't do it people, it's evil. There is another starrylizard out there who is into body mutilation, tattoos and drawing naked women... ROFL! Obviously I live another sekrit life! :P

And I'm off to watch me some Supernatural... *shuts google*

I'm quite sure the language is Vietnamese, I don't understand a word though *g*

And all this copying is quite strange O.o

Ah ha! Right! Well at least I know what language maybe! :P

It is weird, right? I mean it's like a complete copy of my youtube account, with links back. But why? O_o

Wait til you work for the government and then google your name. Now THAT is scary. Do you know how many people really really hate public servants??

O_o

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Hmm, I tried it and only got my research papers and student listings etc. I guess I haven't worked in the public service long enough to completely piss someone off. Although, I know that's not true, we have irate people calling our phonelines every day! :P

Yeah, that's why I don't google my name. Knowing there are people out there who want me to die in horrible, graphic ways and talk about it on the internet.

LOL - i googled me once and got all those copies of YT too - i had no idea what they're all about at all *shrugs and hides somewhere*

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Weird huh! I mean surely google, with its usual smite-y ways, would be smiting their asses for stealing their content, but...there it all is. Odd, so very odd!

Yeah, I think some sites stream everything that YouTube streams. No idea how or why, but there it is.

I guess I'm lucky that my name is pretty unique, heh. I've never found anyone else who uses it, so Googling myself just brings up the forums I go to, the places I've posted fics/vids, and an occasional rec for my stuff.

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

I'd never noticed them before. It's so weird. Why would youtube let them...? I mean youtube won't make any money out of content that way. But...whatever...

Most hits I get are me, but there is one other American chick that has quite a few accounts and obviously a very different life-style to me. lol

Ok, so even though you did say to not google your fandom name....I totally did. And found out that someone has posted my icons on fanpop. At least they gave me credit?

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Well, that's the good thing about googling your name. You only find things that people have actually recommended or credited, so you don't feel to bad about things. :)

I looked through the first ten pages on google for both 'rinkle' and 'rinne' -- nothing on me!

From: [identity profile] starrylizard.livejournal.com

Heee, well maybe Starrylizard is just that bit more obvious. Not something that could be a bad typo. *hugs*

Edit: The second hit I get is "penis rinkle" ROFL!

If you add the search term "fan fiction" you get this one: http://redbandhq.com/NCIS/Section:fanfiction/

Okay, that's interesting. *looks at it sideways to try and figure out what the site is about*

I got a bunch of those. They seem to be sites that pick up keywords and Supernaturalfic must be one they archive, because lots of my SPN fic came up in similar ways on an SPN version of a similar site. *shrugs*

Of course, I instantly went looking for another charis_kalos and there isn't one. I google my real name every so often, too, to see if there's another me out there and am always a little disappointed when there isn't. I'm just madly unique, which sometimes seems sad when all my friends are discovering their alternate lives as psychic detectives or hairdressers in Wales.

*gigglesnort* I would prefer to be the only one. Whenever a site I'm mildly interested pops up, I unashamedly grab my username just in case. :P
