Medical info comm

There's a new comm called whumpers_guide that some of my fellow authors might be interested in. It's basically for asking questions about or sharing info related to medical facts, so that you can whump correctly in your fic.

And just because they're similarly useful comms:
There's also the more established military_beta for military questions and science_beta for those pesky science-related questions (including medical ones).


And off topic completely, I finally watched the first Hornblower episode last night. Interesting stuff. :D

OOoh ... nifty! Thanks for the tip! No idea when I can whump again, but it is the type of content I'm rather partial to, and yes, I'm a stickler for details.

I love being able to check facts if I'm unsure. Half the time I don't include the details in the actual fic, but if I know them then I think it still shows. You don't have them jumoing up and dancing a jig after losing several pints of blood etc. :)
