I'm not sure if I've said it yet, but I am loving the new season. &hearts &hearts Just wow! The next episode cannot come soon enough. *flail*

Just out of interest, has anybody seen any fic that covers Sam's time in the four months before 4x01 that have been written with the new episodes in mind? (ie. recent fic that take into account what we know so far of S4) There must be some, right? I just haven't really seen any floating about, but it'd be a fascinating gap in time to explore now that we know more and I cannot believe there isn't some great fic floating around.

Recs anyone? Non-Wincest recs that is (although is that even relevant with Dean being out of the picture?)

Can you tell I'm hiding out at home this weekend with a cold? Can you? I'm gonna kill this cold with good fic. :P

Nope, haven't seen any fic like that...but then, as I'm not Sam-centred, I'm not likely to have noticed.

It's funny, cos I was going to write a LoM style SPN fic ages ago, but with Dean ending up in the 80's and thinking he needed to stop the YED from killing Mary to get back (seeing John as a younger man, meeting Bobby when he was a younger hunter and hearing Sam through the Impala's tapedeck/radio). Then Ashes to Ashes came out and I was all, meh! Idea ruined. Then the last episode was so very close, but not. lol

But yeah, I thought I'd never like this season, but it's actually pretty awesome. I do kinda miss the "Monster of the day" episodes of past seasons though. Heh.
