Con stuff:

As part of the Supanova Con on the weekend, we saw a Q and A session with Nichelle Nichols (Uhura on original Startrek). Seriously, she was so much fun. Just full of stories to tell and it's obvious she's quite in her element at conventions after so many years. Anyway, I got one of her stories about a prank they all played on Leonard Nimoy on film and figured I'd upload it. My little camera only does 1min at a time, so hence the little gaps in the story which I patched together. :)

She also told some fun stories about George and his laugh and she actually met Martin Luthor King! Wow! And she is looking great! :)

There's also a video of it being taken and a piccy of them with jewel on Derry's post here! For those of you who don't know Derry, Cuddles and K-9 have been photographed with celebrities all over the place now. I love my friends! :)

I know they are just too cute for words! I love seeing happy people happy together! It makes my heart glee. :)

I know! She rocked so much! She was joking about George's laugh and how if you laughed back the same way to him (imitating his laugh) he'd keep laughing harder and harder until he cried and it wrecked his make-up and it was hilarious!

Oh and someone was asking whether she ever sang with William Shattner and she was all...no way! And then she sang a whole bit of song really nicely and stated again how she'd never sing with him, because her voice is nice... or well to that effect anyway.. I paraphrase! lol! It was pretty funny! :)

LOL! Sounds like me! Just that people not imitate my laugh but tell me "It's not that bad, there's no reason to cry" and I have to laugh even harder and crying more. lol
I'd love to see Nichelle one day, iirc she was in Germany before maybe she comes back some day...

LOL, but she's damn right! Her voice is so much nicer than Shatner's. I herad him think, to say it's terrible is an insult to terrible! XD
