This comes from This Site and it's basically saying boycott reality TV and help the writer's strike.

Boycott reality TV.
Don't watch it.
Don't stream it.
Don't buy it on iTunes or Amazon or NetFlix.
Don't watch the reruns.
Spread the word.

Since I (1) live in Australia and (2) would rather spork myself senseless than watch reality TV, I know I won't make much of an impact, but I can at least do the "spread the word" bit and maybe someone else will decide to take it to heart.

If we don't watch reality TV, it affects the number of viewers who see the advertisements. Advertisements are revenue for the very companies that the WGA is striking against. If they have reduced revenue, they'll feel the effects of the strike much more keenly. Display this banner on your website, blog, forums, etc. to show your support for the Writers Guild of America and their strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers.

Oh TOTALLY! When I first saw it I was like "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" But then I thought about it and read a bit about it and I was like "I see why they're doing it and how it's going to affect us all in the long run so I'm throwing myself behind them..."

Looking at her userinfo, the icon is credited to elliptica, so I'd probably credit her in the comment bit where you load the icon. It's a common courtesy thing. :)
