1) Pimpage!
ATTENTION ALL SPN VIDDERS!! There is now a new Supernatural video archive known as THE IMPALA. It's been set up by the same lovelies that run KAWOOSH (A fab Stargate Atlantis archive) and hopefully this one will take off and become just as big.

All you need do is wander over to the site and fill out the simple form for each vid. Then people can search vids by category, vidder name etc. So very useful when you wonder whether someone has already vidded that song, or just want to find a vid you saw a while back.

Hiya! Back in Australia and jet lagged out of my mind. Fell asleep on the couch at 3 in the afternoon and now hopelessly awake at 3 in the morning - does not bode well for work tomorrow.

And the Kawoosh peeps have set up a Supernatural Vid archive? Awesome! Thanks for the heads up. What I've always loved about Kawoosh is that it provides a directory to vids with no "agenda" and no strings attached. So I really am so very pleased that the same will now be available for Supernatural.

BTW - I suppose you guys have already seen the Harry Potter movie? I considered going to see it in Canada, but there was so much other stuff to do!

Hey, well I just woke up and can't sleep so posting fic and checking the mail...you know same old. Shall try to get back to sleep soon.

Yeup, that's waht I love about Kawoosh too. They don't rate the vids or anything, just chuck them into categories and make life easy for us all to find things. :)
I was one of their guinie pigs (sp?), so all my vids are up already! lol

Yeah we saw HP today. It's good! Pity we weren't sure when you'd be back in town or we could have gone a bit later. I'll always see a movie twice if you're desperate enough for company. :)

I didn't really get properly back to sleep and I'm starting to feel the effects now. But luckily I've done most of today's diagnosing already and I'm just signing out reports from now on ;-)

Pity we weren't sure when you'd be back in town or we could have gone a bit later.

Oh, don't worry about that! I would have probably fallen asleep during the movie anyway, and that would not do!

I actually spent yesterday morning meeting my new nephew, Xavier. I've now got a nephew whose initials are XD - and for some reason I think that's just so cool. LOL!

I'll get around to seeing HP soon. If you're not doing much and still interested in seeing it again on the weekend, let me know. I will be doing some more stuff with Xavier and his family, but I'll probably see the movie at some point.

I must admit that it is nice to be home (although back at work? not so much) - even though Canada was fantastic and I had fun pretty much from go to whoa. :-D

I made the "lightning" icon while on my travels (I was actually looking to use the animation for the "credits" of my next vidding project. I can send you the individual frames I made for my name (along with the sequence) and I'm sure you'll be able to knock up your own version in no time. You do have a gif-making program, don't you?

And no worries about the movie. I'm also toying with the idea of seeing if it's playing in Gosford.
