This is sort of inspired by Minkmix, who was recently dared to make Sam and Dean kiss in a gen setting (and they weren't allowed to be drunk either).

Okay, so I had a crazy idea that sounded like fun. (Not that I have time to write much at the moment.)

So here's the thing. You dare me to write something in a fandom I know (or you think I might know, crossovers are fine too). Anything at all, from silly, to embarrassing, to completely weird or seemingly impossible, or maybe just something you think never happens in a gen fic.

Then, if you want to (and don't feel you have to, especially if you aren't a writer), post this in your own LJ and link me so that I can double dare you. Go spread the crazy and be happy.

Disclaimer: I'm kinda tied up at the moment, so it may take me a while to write anything that comes up here, but my crack-infested brain was rather taken by the idea, so I just had to share. :D

Sadly, I can only come up with an obvious idea.

Dean and Sam say "I love you" explicitly (as in not with other words or gestures...although, you can fiddle around with the phraseology) to each other. I don't think I've ever seen it done with gen, and doing it non-badly would probably be difficult ;-)

Caveats:

1. They can not be drunk or under the influence.

2. Neither of them are dying.

Okay, I dare you to write an SPN fic involving the Jack and the bean stalk fairytale - bad trades, fee fi fo fum, giants, golden eggs, exceedingly large bean stalks - you know the one! Have at it any way you like, any age, any Winchesters etc, but please make it within canon rather than an AU. :)

I need to think about this too... slash staples done as gen are great fun... and you can dare me back, although I don't have much time meself and I'm a very slow writer... but crack is crack... I think I've got it, get ready 'cause this is a biggie:

A gen hypothermia/share body heat story, must include the line "this is not what it looks like" (worded as you prefer) and a third canon character that draws wrong conclusions (can be corrected or not)
