Describe yourself as a Mary Sue (an idealized to the point of barf version of you) for the world of Stargate Atlantis in approximately 100 words. Then tag your friends!
Dr Lizzie Starlight, a brilliant molecular biologist, is snapped up straight out of university by the Stargate Program's research division. While there, she accidentally discovers that she has the ATA gene and suddenly finds herself on a one-way trip to the Pegasus Galaxy. She is popular with her co-workers and immediately becomes firm friends with Teyla, Sheppard and Dr Weir, as they discover her remarkable ability to use all things Ancient - including her amazing control over the Puddle Jumpers that is rivalled only by Sheppard himself. In the lab, her genius puts her in good favour with the CSO, Dr McKay, who finds her laid back personality and snarky charm irrisistable. She joins SGA1, saves their butts on numerous occasions by preventing biological catastrophes and saves the city by discovering the truth about ZPMs -- they are really powered by energy producing microbacteria that were genetically engineered in an Ancient lab.

Am I only the one who thought, "Midichlorians!" when energy-producing microbacteria were mentioned? *cringes at bringing up the prequels*

Yep, but now I wish I'd thought of that, because McKay would totally geek out over that! :P
