Aww, [livejournal.com profile] kellifer_fic wrote me absolutely adorable Wee!Winchester comment fic.

That just made my day! :)

The post also contains loads of SGA and SG1 comment fic so check it out!

Ummm, I still love SGA guys, just it's not on at the moment and I'm not feeling inspired by that angsty finale and SPN is all kinds of fun too! I've just realised if you start out late in a fandom, you can peruse people's favourites lists and find all the good stuff! Whee!

Off to lunch now and then back to the daily grind of thesis-bashing...

just fyi

Miracles aired back in 2003 in the US. Richard Hatem, who was one of the producers of SPN last season or two, created and executive-produced the show. Miracles shared several elements with SPN, including investigations of the paranormal, characters' quests to find out more about their mysterious family pasts and personal experiences, a brotherly dynamic (though Paul and Alva in Miracles aren't related -- as far as we know), a looming threat of a large event or evil, and a profoundly sensitive male character with a mastery of woobieness that I informally dub "the Evil Magnet."

*whisper* On Youtube, enter search terms Skeet Ulrich and Miracles. Someone who goes by ukaro83 seems to have uploaded a lot of clips. The Ferguson Syndrome is the pilot ep. It's better on a TV screen, but it's the best I could do.

lol I was really into XF too back in high school (even back in middle school). I watched religiously until I went to uni, owned a couple of the novels and comics, and watched the film "Fight the Future" on opening night. I was never in the internet fandom though, except for reading a few fics...I'm kinda glad because I heard it went through several implosions. Out of control shipper wars (hetshippers vs. slashers vs. NoRomos), crazy angst over David Duchovny leaving even though he wanted to reduce his role, bizarre conspiracy theory camps duking it out, things like that. Its history makes SGA fandom look very nice and cozy by comparison.

Erm, I'll let you get back to work now. *sheepish*

Re: just fyi

Oooh just looked it up! I so totally watched that show somehow! I remember it. Don't know whether I got out the DVDs at some point or if it was on TV, but I remember it. They constantly had this argument over "God is nowhere" or God is now here" :P
Don't remember any of the specifics though. Mabe i can find the DVDs sometime. :)
