starrylizard: Headshot of Ruby from Demons smiling (A - sherlock cityscape)

I'm not ordinarily much of a slash fan. Something to do with how people write slash and, in my opinion, suddenly the characters aren't themselves any more, but occasionally an author gets it right and they manage to walk that line.

[livejournal.com profile] queenklu has made a Sherlock/John fanmix and she's also written a story to illustrate why she chose the songs. It's these words that have me going, oooh I can see that. It's a very lovely piece of writing.

Anyway, it's over here: everyone knows I'm in.

I know there's a few John/Sherlock readers hanging around my f-list, so just thought I'd nudge you over to it. :)

I got an offer today for a free audiobook download from Audible.co.uk.

Can anyone offer up a rec for a good download?

As an idea, I'm usually more attracted to the reader and their voice skills than the particular story they're reading. I have some books read by David Tennant, Benedict Cumberbatch and Katherine Tate which are awesome, because they do all the voices and such. If there'd an audiobook on Audible that you particularly love, I'd most appreciate you're recommendations.

Thanks

It seriously amuses me that John Watson's blog gets spam comments.

I have 800 more words of Sherlock/Inception and still no idea where it's going. *facepalm*

How are you all doing on this fine Saturday?
