The Haiti cause

Just in case anyone is out of the loop, I thought I'd point out a few great things on LJ at the moment.

In order to increase support for Haiti, LiveJournal is hosting a 48-hour charitable vgift drive starting January 28th at 4pm through Saturday at 3:59pm, PST. During this time, we'll donate 100 percent of gross proceeds from ALL vgifts purchased to CARE and UNICEF. Remember, for each $10 you receive in vgifts during any two-week period, you'll get two months of paid account time (and, yes, we do round up, so $0.99 is one dollar, and so on).

Also help_haiti is hotsing a Lightening Round to coincide with the whole VGift thing.

I'm offering icons. You can check out examples on sunnygecko. I'm best at simple text-less icons, but I'm happy to have a go at anything you'd like and I'll personalise with usernames or quotes if preferred. So if you'd like to give to a good cause and think I could make something you'd like, wander over and make a bid. It's a lightening round, so one help haiti VGift will get you icons (no competition). Simple as that and cheap as, well, icons. :P
