Torchwood 1.8

How totally awesome was Torchwood this week? It totally made up for the craptitude of last week's episode, which seemed to be all about "look lesbians" and just annoyed me. They don't make a deal out of the male homosexual relationships going on at all and it just ended up annoying me. Might just be me though.

But this week... Woo! I was actually leaning in toward the screen worried about what would happen (I say this even though it was obvious, but it was so cool!)

Anyway, not particularly spoilery comment, so just look and tell me I'm not imagining... When they pull her out of the freezer the first time, her pulse is really obvious in her neck! It just amused and disturbed me...I mean of course the actress is alive, but they practically zoomed in on her pulse. :P

Also...Stopwatch? O_o

Hahaha! I saw the same comment in other people's lj's and had no idea what it meant... now I'm writing the same thing. :P

Ah, I knew something had to be good today.

It was certainly an interesting episode. (Of course, the only other one I've seen was that Cyberwoman one...and THAT was just WEIRD...)

Ha, the stopwatch comment also made me raise my eyebrow...don't know if I want to know, hehe.

I loved the bit with Max, though. "Torchwood" *bang bang bang* *sit* that cracked me up for some reason. ;) And Ianto with his rhyming names -- he's like Ford with the naming...

Yeah, the "Torchwood" cue thing was hilarious ...especially Jack being unable to resist saying it. :P

The stopwatch thing was just... odd. Cracked me up though, because so far I have not read any of the Jack/Ianto slash. Just have no interest in it, but there they go practically making it canon. :P

And I sooo want to write a SGA/Torchwood xover. I have so many ideas for one, just no time at the moment. :P

Yes, it's seriously odd for me to see slash in canon. I don't really have anything against it, it's just really weird to have it canon...

Ooh, SGA/Torchwood! That would be AWESOME! Yes, time is a precious commodity...but if and when you do get around to it, I'd read it. :D

Hee! Torchwood has already had almost every pairing you can think of in it. Next they'll be moving onto threesomes or alien smut (oh wait, they already did the alien thing a couple of times)...hmmm better forget I mentioned the other thing. I don't want to give them ideas. :P

Yeup. I shall try to find more ficcy time. I also have a dance AU that's bugging me and several wips. Gosh, why do we have to do pesky things like work?

Naughty things? Um, my mind is running several directions with that. I'd suggest torch_wood for most of them.
