I love this show so hard! LOVE. IT.

Barry is so adorable! Geek and fit.

And Grant Gustin - I just looked him up and he sings and dances! (i.e. was in Glee - a show I never watched, so yeah.)

And, in the most childish way I can think to express this, Felicity/Barry = adorable squared

I need icons. Point me to some. :D

In conclusion: SQUEE!

I've been less than impressed with Arrow this season. Usually when I find the show boring or overly angsty, they give me shirtless work outs and that hasn't even happened as yet. Also I was so happy when in S2 they acknowledged he was a thug that killed people and went in another direction, because I felt guilty watching it (for the salmon ladder and the better plot points).

The Flash is exactly how I like my super heroes, child friendly. In my mind they make you smile and laugh, they're a little awkward in real life, and their only weakness is they always want to save everyone. Superman was like that, Spiderman too. Dad and I used to read The Phantom together every weekend. I guess I grew up with very "safe" and family friendly shows, but that's me. Flash is beautiful. Grant Gustin as Barry Allen is fabulous. I do hope some of the supporting actors will get more comfortable though, because some of the younger actors are falling a little flat at present. And, well Iris is basically his sister, so it seems weird that she is the love interest. But whatevs. I'm in love with a new show. \0/

I'm having trouble with Arrow this season too, well really since the middle of s2 actually; don't know what it is that's causing it. But The Flash looks to be headed somewhere interesting and I'm willing to let it take me along for the ride. You're right, the supporting cast seems a touch wooden and/or tentative in their roles, that just means there's room to head on up. :)
