I hate being sick. I can't sleep. Sooo, I thought I'd gripe here. *grins*

SBS has world weather that just repeats at night and they play a CD. Tonight the CD is a really great salsa mix. It seriously has all my favourite salsa tunes, even Africando stuff! I'm seriously contemplating ordering it, but I think I have all the tracks on seperate CDs already.

And, wow! Now I know why my German f-listers keep complaining about the heat. Munich 29C. Berlin 33C!! Can I come? Hee! You can have our stupid cold weather if you want. Not that it's that bad. I think it was about 15C and raining here today.

I'm trying to figure out why they keep showing a place called Beaver Creek, USA and a picture that looks like a ski slope in summer. It seems kind of random. Most of the other places are capital cities or at least very large cities.

Okay well I'll try to go to sleep... again. Stupid cough keeps waking me up. *le sigh*

Um ... I like this weather better than 33 degrees, though. Even if me, you, and half of Australia are sick ... :P

Well, that's not entirely true. You can complain to Americans, Canadians (okay, to a lesser extent, considering their summer weather is like our winter weather), Germans, and other people from the Northern Hemisphere ...

Also, me, 'cuz having a cold is like breathing for me (and, yes, I am aware that while you have a cold it is incredibly difficult to breathe). My point, however, is that I always and forever have a cold so by now it's not like I'm sick, it's just like my default. If I didn't have a cold, well, that's a really, really good day for me.
