Woke up this morning to find:
(1) the plastic bit that holds up the stick that holds up my clothes in the wardrobe has broken and all my clothes are now sitting on the bottom of the wardrobe. I'll have to go to the hardware store and see if I can find some sort of easy-to-install replacement bracket. :(
(2) and then, I went to answer comments/email and my keyboard stopped working. I replaced the batteries and it made no difference, so I'll have to take it back to the store tomorrow. No keyboard for a few nights. Gah! I may have to take my laptop home with me. :(
Now...I'm waiting for a third quasi-annoying thing to happen. These things happen in threes right? At least they do in the movies. *looks around suspiciously*
This after I actually fell asleep last night before 11pm *blinky* and got some of the nicest reviews I've ever had for my fanfiction from people on fanfiction.net *blinky again*. I guess there's nothing sends me to sleep happier than a nice big ego boost. :P

fishlikebikes entry is turning into a bit of a group project, with Yokiem joining in to make a vid for it, since I was babbling about my ideas to her. This could be fun! I may have to find me a graphics/manipping type of person to finish off the fun, but I figure I should write the fic first. It's still just a cool idea, but there's nothing on paper. :p
Oh and I'm gonna check out that rental place tonight, though to be honest I think I'm leaning toward "I don't wanna move" mode. I think I might go batshit sharing with 4 people and sharing a bathroom between 3!! I've been all by myself now for over a year and I'm not sure I'm ready to give it up. I'll have to call the REagent and see what gives on the lock situation.

You know, when I first bought my computer, the sellers tried to get me to buy the cordless keyboard and mouse but my brother kept warning me against it. I play computer games and from experience, if you use the comp a lot, you wear out the batteries quickly.
Hearing your story makes me glad that I didn't buy one of those. I wonder if you need to reinstall the keyboard program to see the keyboard? I'm sure you've already tried configuring from the control panel - although, if you can't use the keyboard, doing this would be hard!
I was thinking about Saturday and I realised that I could get both the SGA and SG1 eps by 3 or 4pm... not sure about the exact time. If so, I realised that maybe we can just skip the movie and watch that! But then I realised that your comp isn't quite working so I don't know if that's appropriate...
Good luck with the rental place! I hope you find a better place so you can leave the wanker. I haven't lived with housemates in a while and now it's just 2 of us in a big house. I remember the trials and tribulations of having housemates - I even had a quarrel with one of my ex-housemates and after he swore at me, I never uttered another word to him again!

I actually didn't have time to fiddle this mornning, except for changing the batteries, so I'll mess with the control panel tonight. Fingers crossed it's something simple! ...and yes, it does seem to burn batteries very quickly. I think I'll have to buy some rechargeables and a recharger, or it could get mighty expensive. Not to mention the environment.
Hmmm. I'm still reluctant to leave the plce I'm renting, even with a wanker for a landlord. It's nice and spacious and I'm all set up there quite happily. Plus, I have vague plans of leaving Sydney after March or April and travelling for a bit.
Anyway, see you Saturday. I'll get in touch before then. I don't think there are any movies on, so the SGA/SG1 option sounds very good. It would be fun to watch the new episodes with company. :D
