rinkle, yokiem and I had seats on the side about half way up, so we could see really well and then there was a screen right in front of us up high and to the left, so we could see all the close-up goodness too.
And, lemme tell you, Jon is still doing the leather jacket, clinging shirts and tight pants credit people. In fact the whole band is looking pretty fit. No tired out old has-been rockers there. No Siree!
Bad Medicine was seriously a highlight. Gotta LOVE that song. Oh and the whole crowd singing Livin' on a Prayer. Just...ahbaksjdhaksa!!
They did a few acoustic bits and pieces...Jon turning up on a little stage in the audience and singin' his little heart out while people swooned around him. Lucky people!
Can't say I really know many of their new songs, but we bopped along anyway. They played some of their tried and true rock love ballads, just so I could get some good SWAY action going. Oh yeah! I woulda preferred a few more of the older songs. Child of the 80's here! But, there were enough of them to keep me happy and they rocked out "Have a Nice Day" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" in the encore. Woo!
So, yeah, brilliant night. I got me a t-shirt for the memories and had a great night with my buddies! :D
