I am just learning to paint, but had some silly fun trying to paint our favourite exorcists going into battle.  It’s “abstract” and I’m sticking to that excuse.  Acrylic paint on canvas board, pallet knife and brush. (Background  based on a Painting with Jane tutorial.)  

I decided I may need some work wall art. Anyone got a picture of Jared that is more the equivalent of the Jensen one? I'd like one with more focus on his eyes. Mmmm.

Someone on heroes_tv asked if anyone would make some icons of the GULP moment, so I made a couple. They aren't anything special, but if anyone else wants them, go for it.

Continuing my fun with PhotoShop CS, I made me a new banner from screencaps of Nothing. Yay!

I still can't get S2 layouts to work for me though. Anyone got a link to a good tut? I want to have one with sidebars for links and such. I could load up my banner in S2, but I couldn't figure out how to move the layout down, so I could see it. Like the boxes are covering up the banner. *doh*

I love Nothing. I ordered the DVD yesterday. Wheee! *dances away*

EDIT: The icon I'm using for Nothing is actually by newkidfan and can be found with her other beautiful icons over at blimey_icons. Just wanted to clarfy that, because I didn't make it. Credit Newkidfan or her icon journal if you're taking. :D

I decided to have a play with photo shop CS, since I currently have a 30 day trial version, and was inspired by the fic Do Not Go Gentle by forlornhope42 which I read avidly every week. In the fic John is a Leukemia patient and Rodney is sent to keep him company...of course they fall in love. (Currently up to chapter 65 and still going...I don't mind if it keeps on forever. :D)

The idea (quoted below) touched me and hence the butterfly in the picture. Also in the background is the beach and blue sky of Wisteria Cove, which becomes John and Rodney's place of sanctuary while John recovers.
