On the bright side (if this is the bright side), late night TV has never been so good. Whatever happened to infomercials? :P
SBS: (Sunday night I think...the days kinda blur together)
Documentary on the penis! I tuned in at the very end, when they were telling us about how if men would just get over there "issues" and teach their partners to stimulate their prostate, then there wouldn't be a need for so much viagra use. O_o
This was followed by a movie about a gay 18yr old training to be a pianist who falls madly in love with 40yr old professional famous pianist -- has gay affair -- ends up sleeping with many, many other music people in an attempt to advance himself (I think, I was wondering in and out and not really following the plot) and all the while dealing with his neurotic mother...
I still can't get over the ads for "nasal technology to get it up" involving two men pretending to play the piano with their hard-ons. O_o I never want that mental image again thank you very much!
Wow, SBS, are you really paid for by government/tax payers money?? Way to go!
And I thought the sexy French/Russian films you used to play were weird/cool! Actually there was a movie about lesbian prostitutes a few weeks back, in some Eastern European language, so I guess that's all still a go too.
Commercial stations:
4400 and BSG are now on at midnight and 1am Monday morning, respectively. Yeah and why do we all download again?
Queer as Folk (American version) on at about 2am Tues morning. This confused the crap out of me. Same plot, but the characters are all played by much younger guys with lots of haircare product use going on. I think I figured out who was who... hey it was 2am... This reminds me I really should finish watching the British version.
Passions is on really early in the morning, like 3am or something. I forgot how BAD that show is. What a crack-up. I mostly manage to sleep by this time, but I tend to catch snippets when I wake up.
I'm starting to think late-night TV is far more interesting than prime time. The insomnia will pass though...it had better.
