Gee gods, I have to change the writing on this site. Its blinding. Can anyone help? I've as yet not been able to figure out the whole layout on LJ. I realise that's probably sad, but......Help??
EDIT: *blinks* Weirdness it changed to blue all by itself. I wonder if it will stay like that.

Ohhh. Just found a community called SpyGate. Seriously, that is so clever. If anyone hasn't seen it and they're a Stargate fan, or just like fic, get on over there.
Only problem is that it's stirring up plot bunnies. Seriously, I was going to write a Kavanagh fic anyway and suddenly I want to put him in the SpyGate AU. Ooooh and I can also think of the best way to put Sergeant Bates (Baites?) in there.

OK, so if there is anyone out there in the SpyGate Community, my plot bunnies involve three new aspects...I'll post the general idea for my own fun!

Dr Kavanagh:
Dr Kavanagh, works in the science department of the Atlantis Cooperative. He refuses to disclose his first name and so most people refer to him simply as Kavanagh. He is about as bottom rung as you can get and will never advance any higher due to his complete inability to bend the rules or get along with anybody. Despite this, he is kept around the department for two good reasons; firstly, he is a brilliant tactician and logical thinker and will often find ways of getting other agents out of trouble, and secondly because of his amazing undercover alias skills. This man is so good with disguises that he could fool your own mother. In fact, it is rumoured that his current pony-tailed hairdo is actually a wig, that he has 20/20 vision and that he actually has fairly good dress sense, but simply dresses and acts the way he does because he has completed so many undercover ops that he has forgotten his real personality. This said, the man does seem to excel at snarking and whining and generally getting on people’s nerves.

Agent Bates:
The Bates that once existed is no more. He was knocked out cold by a Wraith mafia operative who made it into the Atlantis Cooperative facility several months ago. His injuries were not all that severe, but his personality was such that he gave everyone else a headache, so Dr Beckett took the liberty of placing him in a ‘medically induced’ coma. Back at Cooperative headquarters, Dr Frasier then the opportunity to expand her research into mind control. Under very broad instructions from Caldwell and the happy spurring on of one Agent John Sheppard, the talented researcher molded his comatose brain using chemicals, a nano chip and hypnosis, among other things. When the coma was finally lifted, he was a completely new man; likable, obedient and with a new ability to blend into any organization at will. He is currently serving the Cooperative as an undercover Agent in the NID.

The Wraith Mafia:
This Wraith family is a new kid on the block. Its existence has only recently come to light and most of the information that is so far known about them is surrounded by a combination of speculation and shadow. The family group is rumoured to be run by a mysterious central figure known only as ‘The Godmother’. These men seem to harbour a sixth sense and have very long memories. When one man dies another takes on his name, identity and family position, thus giving the impression that they are invincible and immortal. They are also supposedly masters of hypnosis and as such they can make you see things that are not truly there.

EDIT: Turned the Wraith into Spanish Drug Lords.....see fic later on.
