I came across a website that was showing the different types of guns used in military (used it for a RPG I was part of at that time) otherwise I know some weapons by names and what they do basically but those are mostly weapons used by the French military ;)
And for the medical questions like you my knowledge is mostly molecular (and I know a lot less than you on the subject) but I've been a first aid worker for some years so I may help you with first aid actions but that's all ^^
