Canberra has two more public holidays then any other state or territory. Go the Public Service. I believe today is Family and Community Day, which replaced some other holiday a few years back which was no longer considered PC. Can't remember what it was though.
Ahh good old SG1. I'd like to re-watch the whole series one day. I started re-watching the X Files and that's been rather fun! SG1 and Xfiles are shows I watched before I discovered online fandoms. Stargate Atlantis was my first online fandom. :)
It will be interesting to see what sort of reception Agents of SHIELD gets. It's scifi, yes, but it's quirky because it's Joss Whedon. But then most Joss Whedon gets axed despite a strong following. But then it's based on Marvel and Super heroes are doing well. Arrow is still in prime time. Hmmmm. We'll see.
Thanks for the well-wishes. I'm still faintly hopeful I'll be better before I have to work tomorrow. I hate working when I'm sick. Everyone gives you death glares in a shared office, but if I go home I'm gonna get really behind.
