I thought they already messed with the comments, so what is this?



It is clunky.
It takes you to a seperate page each time you make a comment, thus forcing you to load the page more often.
You have to scroll to the comment bit.

WTF? Not impressed.

...And the "select tags" link no longer seems to work. Gah! Give us a break!

Edit: Okay, after clearing my cache and my cookies and logging in again, it is gone. So, I'm going with glitch rather then new feature, which makes me feel much better. Though LJ... GLITCH!

It depends on the journal it seems. It didn't here with you (and on some others), but I found it did on my journal and some others. Maybe depends on the style--whether it's 1 or 2? *is very confused* But yes, it's of the unhappy making.

I think what you're seeing here is just a glitch and not one of the "streamline" additions to the site as I was getting that on and off last year, try refreshing a couple of times, clear the cache, and it might go away - what you're seeing there is what's usually hidden under the drop down box.

If it's a glitch, there's at least 3 of us seeing it... I'm only seeing it sometimes. So weird.

Yep, when it happens it happens a lot to quite a few and yet not at all to others - I'm wondering if it just depends on which one of their servers gets the request?

It is a glitch I guess. I still saw it until until I cleared my cookies and cache and logged in again and now it is fine. WEIRD! And highly annoying.

Oh so good to hear. Was starting to think they'd lost the last of their marbles. Clearing cookies/cache and logging back in has fixed it for the moment.

Great, I'm not sure exactly what causes it, only that it was happening quite a bit during August/September time to quite a few on my flist - it's almost as though part of the code that collapses all that info into the drop down box seems to not load properly. I'm still certain they have lost quite a few of their marbles, when I logged in last week to find all my navigation links were in Russian was a big clue and who knows what they have in store next...

I had one day where the scrapbook kept coming up in Russian. I thought it only happened to me. Obviously their code changes aren't as smooth as they think they are. I did say the "last" of their marbles. Many have already flown the coop, so to speak... Says she mixing metaphors. :P

Yeah, some sort of recurring glitch. I'm not the only one who has had it lately, but at least clearing out your cache and logging in again seems to fix it. Phew!
